Green space
Approximately 31% of the site will be green space, including a new public park, pocket parks, planted routes and communal gardens.
Green space will form an important part of the new neighbourhood, with a new public park, pocket parks, podium gardens, play spaces, new trees and sustainable drainage.
The landscape masterplan brings together the new public park, communal gardens, pedestrian connections, ecological planting and accessible entrances.

Approximately 31% of the site will be green space, including a new public park, pocket parks, planted routes and communal gardens.
The completed development will have more trees than the site does today, with a wide variety of species chosen for wildlife, seasonal interest and resilience to a changing climate.
Play space will be provided for different ages and abilities, located close to homes and within the new neighbourhood park.
Rain gardens and sustainable drainage systems will manage rainfall naturally, helping to reduce flood risk while supporting planting and wildlife.
The landscape has been designed to support walking, cycling and public transport, with 80 short-stay visitor cycle-parking spaces.
The proposals include welcoming entrances, informal seating, extensive planting and a range of public and communal spaces.
